Mental Health Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our client's growing team in Stevenage. As a key member of the team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients with mental health conditions.
  • Lead the team of staff during patient transfers, ensuring a smooth and safe experience for all parties involved.
  • Provide crisis intervention to patients experiencing mental health difficulties during transfers.
  • Ensure adequate handover of patient details, including risk history and current presentation.
  • Be aware of relevant national and local policy regarding safeguarding children and adults.
Requirements:
  • Experience working as a Nurse in primary care and mental health settings.
  • Ability to carry out physical intervention with patients when necessary.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant national and local policy regarding safeguarding children and adults.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £25 for weekdays and £27 for weekday nights and weekends.
  • Full-time 37.5 hours per week with opportunities for overtime.
  • Permanent and zero-hour contracts available.

Please note that this is a driving role, and you must be willing to cover a 50-mile radius travel to client hospitals and clinics.
