About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of our Mental Health Urgent Care Centre, working closely with the team leader and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to the multidisciplinary staff group, ensuring effective team working and processes.
  • Undertake urgent assessments of individuals with mental health problems in acute crisis, using your expertise to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to establish and maintain team systems and processes, including outcome measures and audits.

Person Specification
  • RMN or Dip/BSc (Hons) in Mental Health Nursing.
  • ENB 812/BSc (Hons) Specialist Community Nursing Practice (Mental Health) or similar training.
  • Post-registration experience with at least some experience at Band 6.
  • Experience in acute and community areas, with a focus on care planning, change management, and use of Microsoft Office.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
