The Medical City for Military and Security Services (MCMSS) is a premier Tertiary/Quaternary Care facility dedicated to delivering comprehensive healthcare across various specialties for patients of all ages.

MCMSS is on the lookout for a highly skilled and motivated Pediatric Otolaryngology Consultant to enhance their professional journey within our esteemed institution.

Qualifications and Education:

  • Medical degree (Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery) or equivalent
  • Completion of an internship program
  • Board certification in Otolaryngology or equivalent
  • Fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology/Airway Management

Professional Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of post-fellowship experience in Pediatric Otolaryngology/Airway Management is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert consultation in Pediatric Otolaryngology/Airway Management
  • Offer general Otolaryngology consultations
  • Participate in on-call duties as per departmental regulations
  • Engage in the education of students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to health education initiatives through orientations and scientific presentations
  • Adhere to the policies, guidelines, and programs established by MCMSS
  • Fulfill all responsibilities associated with the designated role
  • Conduct relevant interventions pertinent to the area of specialization
  • Maintain and complete the required clinical privileges
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the department head

Compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and current vacancies, in accordance with the Oman Medical Bylaw.
