About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team at Cooper Lomaz Recruitment Ltd. As a Compliance Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our operations remain at the forefront of the legal industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Support: Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure compliance with SRA codes, AML regulations, and legal compliance.
  • Accreditation Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of crucial accreditations, such as Lexcel and CQS, to ensure our firm's reputation remains intact.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to our business, ensuring a proactive approach to compliance and risk management.
  • Reporting: Develop and implement effective reporting mechanisms to ensure timely and accurate compliance and risk management information.
  • Policy Management: Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure our firm remains compliant.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge: SRA codes, AML regulations, and legal compliance.
  • Risk management: Proven experience in risk management and legal audit.
  • Articulate, diligent: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Professional, organised: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
