Position Overview: In light of ongoing expansion and new project acquisitions, our client is eager to enhance their exceptional project team by appointing a new Project Management Specialist.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for customers during project execution, which may involve international travel to facilitate in-person discussions.
  • Develop and maintain essential project documentation, including but not limited to Project Management Plans, Project Schedules, Supplier Management Plans, Support Integration Plans, Project Risk Management Plans, and Project Work Breakdown Structures, while collaborating with customers and relevant departments.
  • In conjunction with the Principal Project Manager, oversee and assess project performance, identifying and addressing any deficiencies or opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct audits and manage assigned suppliers on a global scale as necessary.
  • Proactively identify and communicate any issues that may pose risks to the Principal Project Manager at the earliest opportunity.
  • Foster a motivating environment for team members and ensure effective communication regarding the status and challenges of assigned projects across the organization.
  • Actively contribute to the development and enhancement of the Project Team.
  • Engage in supplier development and management initiatives.


Candidate Requirements: To qualify for this role, candidates must demonstrate substantial experience as a Project Manager within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.


Essential Qualifications:

  • A proven history of successfully managing technical projects.
  • Strong business and commercial insight.
  • The ability to balance quality, cost, and delivery across projects while engaging effectively with customers, internal stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Knowledge and experience in adhering to quality, health and safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly in Excel.
  • Current residency in the UK or possession of a UK Passport.
  • Eligibility to obtain a work visa for international assignments.
