About the Role

DigiKape Resourcing is a leading recruitment agency, specialising in filling ad hoc shifts and providing temporary and permanent placements for both public and private sectors. We are currently seeking a Grant Officer- Housing Improvements to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a Borough-wide service to all customers, with a focus on older people and individuals with disabilities.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide and varied customer base, including internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage a busy office, ensuring systems, processes, and procedures are in place to support a high-quality service.
  • Assess financial eligibility and provide guidance on welfare rights and benefits.
  • Administer housing grants and loans, from initial referral to completion of works.
  • Work on own initiative, managing workload to meet deadlines and targets.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of welfare rights, benefits, and financial assessments.
  • Experience with IT systems, including Flare Database and Agresso.
  • Ability to demonstrate a genuine commitment to work to consistently high standards.
  • Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.
What We Offer

This is a 36-hour post, working 5 days a week. The main work base is in Sefton, but the role involves working from home with access to the office. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
