Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team at Long-Term Teachers Limited. As a HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with high-functioning autism and/or ADHD, collaborating with classroom teachers to enhance learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students: Work closely with young people with autism and ADHD, developing and implementing tailored interventions to support their personal and academic growth.
  • Develop interventions: Assist in creating and delivering core subject interventions, tailored to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Lead lessons: Take charge of the class during PPA cover, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring a smooth learning environment.

As a HLTA, you will be proactive, resilient, and a team player with a good sense of humour.
