We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis, working 2 days a week in Brentwood. The successful candidate will provide technical support and maintenance for our school's ICT systems infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide hardware and software support for users of the school's computer network.
- Perform PC hardware repairs and upgrades.
- Detect, diagnose, and resolve PC, peripheral, and application errors.
- Install and maintain standard network cabling and configure network clients.
- Support school-specific software, including SIMS, Groupcall, and Insight.
- Support computer and non-computer-based ICT equipment.
- Assist with management of MS Server software, MS O365, SharePoint, Lync, and MS SQL.
- Assist with management of Active directory and Group Policies.
- Support teaching staff in preparing ICT equipment for educational programs.
To be considered for this role, you must have a current Enhanced DBS check and be signed up to the DBS Online Update Service.
