Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Carrington West. As a Project Manager - Wastewater Sector, you will be responsible for leading projects related to the water and wastewater industry, working closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership: Lead site teams and sub-contractors to maintain the highest possible standard of safety performance at all times and ensure safety is the number one priority of all members of the team.
- Commercial and Programme Management: Responsible for the commercial and programme management of schemes, including the selection and procurement of sub-contract packages.
- Health and Safety: Ensure a safe workplace environment mitigating risk to health - safe people, safe place.
- Communication: Chair and minute internal and external meetings, including site progress, safety, team, design, and sub-contract meetings.
- Team Management: Motivate and support the site team and sub-contractors to deliver all targets and objectives.
- Personal Development: Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
- Experience: Proven experience in project management, preferably in the water and wastewater industry.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in project management, such as PRINCE2 or Agile.
- Skills: Strong planning awareness and abilities, technical knowledge of civil, electrical, and mechanical water and wastewater operations, and appropriate IT skills.
- Behavioral Competencies: Role model the values of the company, display assertiveness and persistence, and react positively to setbacks.
