Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Manton Wood, where you'll design, plan, and deploy engineering solutions to enhance the capability of our assets. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll work closely with colleagues to deliver projects that drive business growth and improve manufacturing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing productivity.
- Ensure new equipment drawings and preventative maintenance recommendations are transferred to the maintenance teams' files.
- Develop User Requirement Specifications (URS) to establish clear objectives and standards for project planning.
- Create AutoCAD drawings as specifications from designs provided by engineering project managers.
- Manage projects with budgets ranging from £100,000 to £1 million, working closely with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- PMI, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
- Experience using Microsoft Project or equivalent project management software to report on project progress.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software to produce design specifications.
- Ability to assess machine safety and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
