Construction Project Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at Galliford Try within our Environment Business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects in the Severn Trent Region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to meet project requirements.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring effective project control.
- Collaborate with site engineering teams to plan and program projects, ensuring seamless execution.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct site teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of construction industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
