We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Leonard Cheshire, a leading provider of care and supported living services. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our customers, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to customers, including administering medication, ordering and storing medication, and maintaining accurate records.
- Lead a team of support staff, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the shift, prioritizing and planning tasks, and delegating activities as needed.
- Support ongoing assessments, observing changes in health and well-being, and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure a safe and caring environment for customers, supporting their physical care, personal hygiene needs, and daily tasks.
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- A thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
- An understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
- Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
- Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
