About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Leonard Cheshire in Romsey. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our customers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met in a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care to customers, prioritising their needs and preferences.
  • Lead a team of support staff, delegating tasks and ensuring the smooth management of shifts.
  • Order and administer medication, maintaining accurate records and adhering to NMC guidelines.
  • Support ongoing assessments, observing changes in health and well-being, and maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective care team.
Requirements
  • Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
  • Understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
  • Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
  • Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
