Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to customers in accordance with their Person Centred Plans.
  • Order and administer medication, ensuring safe storage and record-keeping.
  • Lead a team of support staff, prioritizing and planning tasks to ensure smooth and efficient management of the shift.
  • Support ongoing assessments, observing changes in health and well-being, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Support customers with physical care, personal hygiene needs, and daily tasks.

Requirements:

  • Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
  • Understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
  • Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
  • Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
