Job Summary

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Nursing Faculty member to join our team. As an Adjunct Nursing Faculty, you will be responsible for teaching nursing courses and contributing to the development of our nursing program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and teach nursing courses to students in a variety of settings
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and program evaluation
  • Participate in departmental and university-wide committees and activities
  • Engage in professional development and continuing education to stay current in the field of nursing

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Current Virginia RN license or multi-state compact license
  • Knowledge and experience in clinical nursing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior teaching experience in nursing
  • Experience in clinical nursing practice in acute care or community health settings
