About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Project & Programme Services team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our London & Southeast Project Management Service Line, you will be responsible for delivering project management services regionally and providing excellent service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project delivery with advisory support from senior colleagues.
  • Manage consultant teams and monitor programmes through all RIBA stages to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Establish and maintain good client relationships.
  • Provide guidance and technical advice to clients, consultants, and colleagues.
  • Prepare fee proposals and bid submissions.
  • Manage project finances and ensure compliance with organisational policies.
  • Help clients define programme and project objectives and manage them throughout the project duration.
  • Provide high-quality project management reporting.
  • Manage client relationships and service delivery on a commission or project basis.
  • Manage project teams internally, including resource management and wellbeing.
  • Stay up-to-date with legal and technical matters relevant to project work.
  • Apply quality assurance and environmental management principles in compliance with organisational policies.
  • Develop knowledge of AtkinsRéalis service offerings and promote their benefits to clients.
  • Contribute to developing new business opportunities and generating repeat business.
  • Lead on project governance and fee management activities.

Requirements:

  • Relevant construction qualification or experience in the construction industry.
  • Fully chartered member of a professional body (e.g. RICS, APM, CIOB or equivalent).
  • Ability to oversee teams on commissions/projects/programmes.
  • Previous experience working for a Project Management Consultancy.
  • Experience in delivering a range of building projects from inception to completion.
  • Client-facing experience, including working with clients on a commission/project basis.
  • Knowledge of public and private sector clients.
  • Experience in JCT and/or NEC contract administration.
  • Strong understanding of programme and scheduling software.
  • Sound technical health, safety, and environmental knowledge.
  • Ability to form effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
