Financial Operations Manager

Are you an experienced finance professional seeking a new opportunity? Join this innovative energy production organization as a Financial Operations Manager, where you will oversee a range of financial responsibilities across a diverse group of entities.
In this role, you will manage a team of two direct reports, leading both an accounting division and a financial controlling unit, while taking charge of financial leadership for a group with an annual turnover of £80 million.
Job Type: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with hybrid working options (2 days remote per week).

You will be responsible for guiding an accounting team focused on financial reporting and compliance, engaging with tax authorities, managing audits, forecasting cash flow, overseeing treasury functions, and handling accounts payable and receivable.
Additionally, you will lead a controlling team dedicated to financial planning and analysis, conducting economic assessments including mergers and acquisitions, preparing investor reports, and providing management accounting support.
Your responsibilities will include delivering monthly management accounts, enhancing financial systems, and optimizing departmental performance by identifying and addressing any weaknesses.
A robust background in auditing is essential for this position, making it an excellent opportunity for a Financial Controller or Head of Finance currently working in a small to medium-sized enterprise.
In this role, you will also gain valuable experience in acquisitions and due diligence processes, as well as analyzing commercial contracts.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualifications, along with experience in multi-entity or group finance environments.
