Job Title: Principal Public Health Engineer

AECOM is a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy seeking a Principal Public Health Engineer to be based in Manchester. The successful candidate will have proven Public Health and Fire Protection services design experience, preferably within the Ministry of Defence and Healthcare project sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the public health design across varying project sizes and sectors, mainly within the UK.
  • Prepare scheme and detailed engineering designs, client care, mentoring, strategic recruitment, and supporting bidding work.
  • Deliver high-quality designs that meet client requirements and statutory regulations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in public health engineering.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in public health engineering design and project management.
  • Chartered Engineering status (or working towards) and a degree in Building Engineering, Public Health Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Revit software and experience with Navisworks for drawing reviews.
