About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing a wide range of electrical products, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring quality and attention to detail are the driving forces behind all aspects of the role.
  • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Confidence to challenge working practices and contribute to improving assembly standards.
  • Product safety and compliance testing.
  • Ability to understand the workings and purpose behind assembled components.
  • Develop and implement best working practices.
  • Perform operations such as wire preparation and crimping.
  • Optimize processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Collaborate with the assembly coordinator and production team to ensure work is completed on time and to the highest quality standard.
  • Confident in delivering to a production schedule.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experienced background with electrical components and assembly.
  • Confidence to implement quality checking procedures to ensure the highest standard of quality is achieved.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Desirable Qualifications:

An electrical or electrical assembly qualification would be advantageous, but is not a necessity.

Working Arrangements:

This is a full-time, permanent position, working weekdays only, with no weekend or shift work required.
