Electrical Assembly Engineer Opportunity

We are working with a well-established business in Sudbury, seeking an Electrical Assembly Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure quality and attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Confidently challenge working practices and contribute to improving assembly standards.
  • Conduct product safety and compliance testing.
  • Understand the functionality and purpose of assembled components.
  • Develop and implement best working practices.
  • Perform tasks such as wire preparation and crimping.
  • Optimize processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Collaborate with the assembly coordinator and production team to ensure timely completion and high-quality work.
  • Deliver results according to a production schedule.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience with electrical components and assembly.
  • Confidence in implementing quality checks to ensure the highest standard of quality.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams, including management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

An electrical or electrical assembly qualification is desirable but not essential.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working weekdays only, with no weekend or shift work required.
