Strategic Recruitment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition and Development Manager to join our team at Alexander Mae HR Ltd. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for leading our talent acquisition and development efforts, ensuring we attract and retain top talent in the industry.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with hiring managers to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, ensuring a seamless end-to-end recruitment process.
- Work closely with hiring managers to create compelling role profiles, sourcing and selection strategies, and manage the candidate experience.
- Drive direct hires through various channels, including networking, referrals, advertising, and other tools as required.
- Manage recruitment agency relationships, ensuring a high-quality candidate pipeline.
- Advise and assist on selection techniques, supporting the interview process, and engaging with other selection tools as needed.
- Oversee the offer process, onboarding, and induction, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
- Assist and lead on temp hires as required, ensuring a flexible and adaptable approach to recruitment.
- Develop and implement the Early Careers recruitment strategy, including marketing, application process design, and assessment day management.
- Lead on employer branding, managing careers pages, job boards, and directory entries to enhance our online presence.
- Develop and maintain the firm's employee value proposition, maximizing attraction, retention, and employee experience.
- Support broader ED&I initiatives, ensuring recruitment and talent development processes are inclusive and non-discriminatory.
- Proven in-house recruitment experience, with a strong track record in experienced hires and early years recruitment.
- Professional services experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Experience in designing and running assessment centers and recruitment processes is a must.
- Exposure to talent management/development is helpful, but a willingness to develop in this area is essential.
- Previous project-based experience is a plus.
- Proactive, flexible, confident, and positive attitude, with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work with and influence senior stakeholders, with strong prioritization skills.
- A competitive salary of £60,000 - £65,000, plus bonus.
- Hybrid working arrangement, with three days in the office.
- Free parking and 25 days holiday, plus a discretionary day for your birthday.
- Pension scheme (5% employer, 4% employee), life assurance (4 x salary), PHI, private health care (Vitality), and hours of 9am – 5.15pm, Monday to Friday.
