About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Older Peoples Community Mental Health Team in North Devon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of older adults with mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
  • Participate in on-call rota and provide cross-cover for leave.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our services.
Requirements
  • Full Registration with the General Medical Council.
  • Eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT at time of interview.
  • Approved under section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983.
  • Experience of working in a Community Mental Health Team.
  • Proven commitment to improving the quality of clinical care.
