About Us

Springwell Harrogate is a PRS (Pupil Referral Service) that serves the North Yorkshire area. We are committed to providing the best possible care and education for our students, who come to us after being permanently excluded or for short-term preventative places. Our approach is centered around Unconditional Positive Regard, Restorative Practice, and Continuous Professional Development. We believe in the power of relationships and work closely with our partner school, Springwell Leeds Academy, and the Positive Regard Teaching School to support a career path for aspiring teachers.

Key Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students with Maths, English, reading, and practical activities. You will also support pupils to develop resilience, social skills, and self-esteem, as well as using effective strategies for supporting pupils with a range of behavioral needs. You will work closely with our teaching staff to create individualized pathways for our students and provide regular feedback and progress updates.
