Sous Chef Opportunity at a Luxury Boutique Hotel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at a prestigious boutique hotel in Oxford. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in menu planning, kitchen management, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and kitchen operations
  • Manage kitchen staff and maintain a high level of morale and motivation
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and food hygiene regulations
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to achieve culinary excellence

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a luxury setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Passion for fresh, local ingredients and creative cuisine
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment
