Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantum Computing Research Scientist to join our team at Quantinuum. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and characterizing quantum computing related hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a team of research scientists and engineers to design and develop innovative quantum computing solutions
  • Characterize and analyze the performance of quantum computing components and subsystems
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams on complex technical issues
  • Independently operate and troubleshoot quantum computing systems
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physics or a relevant engineering field
  • Minimum 1-year hands-on laboratory experience in industry
  • Due to contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Physics or a relevant engineering field
  • 2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience in industry
  • Ability to analyze large sets of data to identify correlations and trends
  • Strong computer skills, including programming in Python
  • Experience in performing system audits to ensure intended system functionality
