About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Insights Specialist to join our team at Scottish Water. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain advanced reporting capabilities using Power BI, ensuring timely and accurate insights for business stakeholders.
  • Lead initiatives to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximizing revenue.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data quality improvement projects, leveraging expertise in data analysis and visualization.
  • Design and deliver data-driven solutions to drive business performance, leveraging expertise in data mining, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, to ensure data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data analysis, data visualization, and business intelligence, with a strong background in MS Power BI, DAX, SQL, and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Experience in leading projects, stakeholder management, and data quality improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
