Data plays a pivotal role in our transformational journey and is essential to our Commercial Strategic Vision. The Commercial Data Programme is dedicated to providing reliable and accurate data for reporting purposes. Our goal is to facilitate Management Information (MI) and Business Intelligence (BI) to support informed decision-making and foster a robust data culture.
Reporting to the Data Programme Lead, you will guide scrum teams within the Commercial Data programme, ensuring that project deliverables align with the established timeline and objectives. As a Scrum Master, you will cultivate an inspiring atmosphere for the scrum team, ensuring they grasp the vision and significance of their contributions to advance the programme.

You will spend a minimum of 40% of your workweek away from home, collaborating at various office locations, engaging with clients, or participating in industry events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist development teams in consistently applying the Scrum framework throughout the data programme, focusing on continuous improvement and best practices.
- Communicate effectively to ensure alignment and clarity among various stakeholders, collaborating with key change and product owners to define Epics and Features for reporting.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and eliminate obstacles to enable the team to consistently deliver value, taking ownership of risk management and enhancing controls related to your contributions.
- Drive multiple agile-focused initiatives across teams while providing training, mentoring, and coaching to help teams become self-sufficient.
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters across the Commercial sector to enhance the effectiveness of Scrum application and promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Monitor daily progress to track the achievement of sprint goals and develop reporting capabilities within Azure DevOps.
- Identify and implement strategies to enhance team, process, and service performance, suggesting and executing changes to improve team operations.
Your Profile:
Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on experience as a Scrum Master in a complex, multi-team environment within the financial or insurance sectors.
- Significant experience utilizing Azure DevOps for backlog management and progress tracking, including the implementation of best practices.
- Proven success in collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders to drive performance enhancements across the organization.
- Experience in a fast-paced Agile environment, understanding the necessity for rapid cross-functional decision-making.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks of varying complexities, effectively bridging business and technology.
- Capacity to build diverse teams essential for successful project delivery.
- Strong expertise in Azure DevOps, including designing workflows, templates, and states to clarify work progress.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data and Azure DevOps to identify team challenges and measure improvements.
- Proficiency in creating Azure DevOps dashboards to enhance internal and external visibility of project delivery.
As a prerequisite for this role, candidates must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
