Position Summary:We are seeking to recruit several Jewellery Fabrication Specialists to perform in-store jewellery welding services.
This role demands exceptional precision, meticulous attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of welding techniques tailored specifically for fine jewellery.
The Jewellery Fabrication Specialist will collaborate closely with clients to guarantee superior craftsmanship and achieve complete customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of welding and fabrication.
- Execute precise welding operations utilizing either laser or traditional welding methods to create and modify jewellery items, including but not limited to bracelets, rings, and necklaces.
- Work with precious metals such as gold and titanium.
- Conduct thorough self-assessments of your work both prior to and following welding to identify any defects or imperfections.
- Ensure that welded joints are secure and adhere to the required durability standards.
- Engage with customers to comprehend their design specifications and requirements, providing technical insights regarding the feasibility and longevity of their designs.
- Maintain and calibrate welding equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel.
Qualifications:
- Vocational training or certification in welding, metalworking, or jewellery design is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in welding, ideally within the jewellery sector.
- Proven expertise in operating laser welding equipment and tools.
- Exceptional hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work on intricate designs.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with designers and clients.
- Knowledge of various metals and their properties.
- Familiarity with jewellery design and the fabrication process.
- Commitment to safety and best practices in welding operations.
Available Positions:
4 part-time roles are open for application.
Working Hours:
