PET/CT & CT Clinical Specialist Radiographer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Technologist in PET/CT and CT Radiography to join our client's dynamic and fast-paced department. Ideal candidates will have substantial experience in CT scanning, with PET/CT experience being a plus, though not required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a wide range of CT and PET/CT scans with precision and accuracy.
  • Act as an Operator under IR(ME)R17, ensuring compliance with legislative and hospital policies.
  • Ensure quality assurance of equipment, recording and reporting faults in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with reporting consultants to clarify or discuss requests for complex examinations.
  • Prioritize patients to ensure optimum efficiency and service quality.
  • Maintain a high standard of patient care through good clinical practice.
  • Work unsupervised, seeking advice from the superintendent or medical staff when required.
  • Rotate between departments as needed.
  • Assist with training of new staff and support departmental audits.
Requirements:
  • BSc Radiography.
  • HCPC registration (essential).
  • Previous senior-level experience with comprehensive post-qualification work experience in CT.
