About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Paralegal to join our Serious Injury Law team at Fletchers Solicitors. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assisting our fee-earning lawyers with their cases, ensuring matters are progressed in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist fee-earning teams with case management, including progress files in line with KPI targets
  • Liaise with clients, experts, barristers, and other relevant parties to ensure effective communication
  • Prepare accurate and detailed file notes, witness statements, and other documents as required
  • Contribute to maintaining case plans and summaries, taking a proactive approach to case management
  • Research points of law in respect of liability and quantum, and assist with gathering evidence and chasing parties
  • Attend client meetings, Court, Joint Settlement Meetings, and Conferences as necessary, taking notes and providing support
  • Ensure excellent client care and maintain accurate time recording
Requirements
  • Good researching and drafting skills, with a sound base knowledge of serious injury law and court procedure
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong file management and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to a diverse environment
  • IT competent, with excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours, with a strong commitment to client care
