About the Role:
We Are Survivors is seeking a qualified counsellor/psychotherapist to join our team in delivering trauma-informed therapy services in prisons across the Northwest of England.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver trauma-informed therapy services to male (including Trans and Non-binary) victims/survivors of sexual abuse, rape, and sexual exploitation.
- Work as part of a team to provide survivor-focused therapeutic and advocacy support.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our OUT Spoken Talking Therapy Services in Greater Manchester and Merseyside estates.
Requirements:
- Qualification in Counselling/Psychotherapy (Diploma or equivalent).
- Registration with BACP or equivalent (preferably an accredited member).
- Understanding of issues relating to trauma and ability to work in a prison setting.

- Annual salary of £27,810.
- 25 days annual leave (increasing annually by 1 day to max of 30 days) plus bank holidays.
