Job Title: Clinical Psychologist/CBT Therapist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Psychologist/CBT Therapist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHSFT. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments and interventions to individuals experiencing distressing psychosis and bipolar disorder.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide CBT-based assessment and interventions for individuals experiencing psychosis and bipolar disorder.
  • Conduct Behavioural Family Intervention assessments and interventions for families supporting a person's recovery from psychosis.
  • Deliver CBT-based assessment and intervention sessions for individuals experiencing complex and potentially long-standing problems such as severe anxiety, depressed mood, and trauma.
  • Lead recovery-focused group work for individuals who use our service and/or their family members.

Person Specification:

  • Clinical Psychology Doctorate/CBT therapy qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience of providing CBT for psychosis, PD, and complex affective disorders.
  • Demonstrable experience of psychological assessment, formulation, and treatment of clients across the age range.
  • Demonstrable clinical experience of delivering structured, evidence-based, psychological interventions to individuals with severe and complex psychological problems.
