KPMG's Global Compliance & Transformation (GCT) team is a key area of focus for our organization. We help multinational groups and financial services clients manage their global tax compliance, reporting, and statutory accounting obligations through outsourcing, co-sourcing, transformation, and technology.

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Senior Manager to join our team in Canada Square, London (although flexibility on location will be considered). The successful candidate will have experience in a broad range of areas, including:
- Deep tax transformation experience, including analyzing tax requirements, designing tax processes, and implementing tax technology solutions.
- Strong and practical ERP finance and tax experience, specifically in SAP S4 HANA, Oracle, or Workday, as a foundation for tax processes.
- Strong experience of design and configuration of ERP systems for tax purposes.
- Strong experience of implementing VAT determination engines and bolt-ons, such as Vertex O-Series, Thomson Reuters OneSource Determination, or Meridian VAT Add-On.
- Strong tax technology implementation experience, including requirements gathering from a tax, IT, and users and creating and reviewing design documentation.
- Tax process knowledge, for example, indirect tax, direct tax, and/or transfer pricing.
- Strong familiarity with end-to-end finance processes (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Record-to-report) and their integration with tax.
- Advising on appropriate tax technology to support compliance and reporting processes.
- Project management.
- Client and engagement management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall delivery of global and large tax transformation and technology projects, often as part of a wider finance transformation program.
- Help clients design, build, and deploy ERP and tax automation solutions that are designed for tax.
- Support our clients in understanding the importance of tax, the optimal way to address tax requirements in their countries, and the value that it can bring.
- Work together with our other Tax Transformation colleagues as well as other groups in KPMG, such as Consulting.
- Help clients develop robust global governance and process frameworks.
- Develop our service offerings and service delivery models.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships with both existing and new clients.
- Line manage managers and assistant managers and oversee the output of offshore resources in order to deliver client projects.
- Identify opportunities to identify additional services that the client may need and liaise with subject specialists.
- Coach and provide technical support for other team members.
- Follow KPMG best practice and policy.
Requirements
- At senior manager level, you will be proactive, curious, committed, and invested in self-development and learning.
- You will demonstrate resilience, accountability, flexibility, and experience in leading others, managing significant size engagements and client relationships, driving results, and managing risk.
- Across GCT, we would welcome applications from those qualified by experience, as well as ATT/CTA/ACA or equivalent qualifications.
- Project Management qualifications along with specific transformation skills (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) are also welcome.
- Further skills and experience include:
- Experience of technology and automation to drive efficiency, risk management, and value.
- Experience in process, risk, and controls design.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication skills.

- Awareness or experience of tax and accounting compliance processes (e.g., Direct/Indirect tax returns, statutory accounting).
