Corporate Tax Manager

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our global tax team, you will play a critical role in supporting our business leaders and colleagues in the smooth operation of our global corporate tax compliance function.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple tax assignments, working collaboratively with the UK tax team to ensure timely and accurate results.
- Lead and monitor tax compliance and provision to returns in your portfolio of jurisdictions.
- Provide input into the forecast of UK Group taxable profit by assigned legal entity, communicating effectively with business leadership to improve access to outcomes.
- Review tax accounting quarterly packs prepared by local accountants for certain complex assigned entities.
- Provide reports to Management on the status of Corporate Tax compliance.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing ongoing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Good general UK corporation tax and tax accounting knowledge and experience gained within the profession or in a similar role in industry.
- Experience of mentoring and managing other team members.
- Professional accounting and/or tax qualification.
- Strong organisational capabilities.
- Good judgement and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills and a strong team player.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to meet deadlines through planning, organisation and persistence.
