About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Skills Coach to join our Supported Internship programme team in Islington. As a Skills Coach, you will play a central role in delivering our Supported Internship programme, supporting learners with SEN to complete all elements of the programme in line with requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support learners with SEN to complete all elements of the programme in line with requirements
  • Provide tailored support to learners to develop employability skills and embed English and Maths learning in the workplace
  • Deliver support in various ways, including 1-1 job coaching and working with learners to develop employability skills
  • Accountable for learner progression in the workplace and achieving outcomes for the learner
Requirements
  • Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities
  • Experience of delivering against targets
  • Knowledge of safe working practices
  • Knowledge of the sector
  • A-C/9-4 English & Maths GCSE (or equivalent)
  • Good ICT skills
  • Effective communicator
  • Effective record keeping and reporting
