Job Overview

UCLH Fetal Medicine Unit is seeking an experienced Midwife to cover a 12-month secondment on a part-time basis. As one of our team leaders has secured a 12-month part-time secondment, this post is offered at WTE or hours a week. It's an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic fetal medicine midwife to step into a Band 7 role. You will be supported by the current post holders, Matron, and fetal medicine unit team.

Main Duties

The day-to-day role requires you to lead a team of 6 midwives and one maternity support worker, while coordinating the many multidisciplinary specialist services FMU offers. You will be responsible for ensuring the team provides high-quality care that is safe, kind, and meets individual needs. You will be a motivational leader who can coordinate a busy department with precision and attention to detail. This role requires a person who can communicate exceptionally with the multi-disciplinary team and the patients we care for.
