As an integral member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of adults facing communication and swallowing challenges.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert speech and language therapy to adults with complex needs across the West region.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for individuals experiencing communication and swallowing difficulties.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on best practices in speech and language therapy.

Essential Requirements:

  • Current HCPC and RCSLT registration.
  • Degree-level qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Dysphagia qualification.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Proficiency in the English language.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Membership of a relevant Clinical Excellence Network.
  • Experience working with stroke and acquired disorders.
  • Expertise in AAC therapies implementation.
  • Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies.
