Estimator / Quantity Surveyor Opportunity at Heathrow Airport

We are currently representing an excellent facilities and construction expert who are seeking a skilled Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join their team at Heathrow Airport on a permanent basis.

The company has been successfully operating for over 10 years, providing full construction fit out and facilities maintenance services to high-end commercial clients, including airports, showrooms, and other prestigious establishments.

As an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor, you will be office-based, responsible for providing estimations, quotations, and surveying jobs, as well as gathering quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers. You will also analyze company data, exchange rates, and prices using software packages.

The ideal candidate will have a construction background, with experience in delivering high-end projects and working with in-house estimators and office teams. Alternatively, a junior Estimator / QS looking for training and support within a large team at Heathrow Airport may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Researching materials, equipment, and labour costs
  • Gathering quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Assessing project risk levels
  • Analyzing company data and exchange rates using software packages
What We Offer:
  • Basic Salary: £55-80K (dependent on experience)
  • Mobile phone and laptop provided

  • Working hours: 07.45-16.30
