Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist to join our team. As an Educational Psychologist, you will work collaboratively with schools, early years providers, colleges, and other partners to promote psychological wellbeing, inclusion, and elevated standards across the spectrum of age and abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to schools in meeting the needs of all pupils, contributing to raising pupil achievement
  • Offer advice to parents, carers, and other agencies regarding children's development and other needs as appropriate
  • Ensure the effective delivery of EPS contributions to meet statutory responsibilities, adhering to 6 week deadlines for EHC Needs Assessments
  • Deliver a comprehensive range of EP services to schools, resourced provision, children and families
  • Conduct regular visits to allocating schools, advising and supporting them within the framework of the Code of Practice (Children and Families Bill 2013) for the identification, planning and management of pupils with special educational needs
Requirements
  • British Psychological Society accreditation, or Doctorate professional qualification as an Educational Psychologist
  • Experience of planning and providing services to children and young people in educational care settings, and support of their parents and carers
  • Knowledge of the Children & Families Act, Equalities Act, SEND Code of Practice
