About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head Housekeeper to join our team at The Mayfair Townhouse. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service in our 172 rooms and suites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the department in the Executive Housekeeper's absence
  • Support with team training, inductions, ongoing development and appraisals of team performance
  • Complete required administrative duties as per company standards
  • Liaise with Front Office and Engineering regarding guest requests and maintenance requests
  • Support the Executive Housekeeper with meeting departmental targets
  • Hold regular meetings with staff to ensure effective communication

About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced individual who has a proven track record in housekeeping management. You will have a calm and collected demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high standards in all areas of the role.

Previous managerial experience within housekeeping is essential, and experience in at least 4 or 5 star hotels is desirable.
