A highly skilled C&I Engineer is required to join our team at A Select uk Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the maintenance, design, and improvement of process control systems and safety systems for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and improve process control systems and safety systems for efficient and safe plant operation
- Act as Lead Engineer ensuring site safety, site maintenance, and site development
- Develop project work scopes and schedules of work after identification of plant improvement and capital projects
- Implement and design new and improved process control systems and safety systems
- Monitor and manage budgets cost-effectively
- Regularly review Safety Instrumented Systems, documentation, and improve process control systems and safety systems in line with standards
- Good controls systems experience and experience of the engineering required in the control & instrumentation design standards of process plant/live plant industry
- Controls Engineering qualifications or Instrument qualifications and memberships (apprenticeship trained, HNC in Electrical, Electrical or Instrument & Control Engineering) with a good working knowledge in instrumentation, instrumentation control, control, and instrumentation design, safety instrumented systems design
- Experience knowledge of Functional Safety Standards IEC 61508, 61511, and Explosive Atmospheres BS EN 60079 is desirable
- Hold a current valid UK driving licence and have your own vehicle to get to remote site daily
