About the Role

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Lead to join our Global Process Improvement team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for deploying overall quality and improvement techniques to deliver initiatives that meet the Voice of the Customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project portfolios and lead cross-functional teams to deliver sustained improvement across critical processes.
  • Deploy strong influencing and refined facilitation skills to drive business improvement projects.
  • Train and coach Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt project teams as a cross-functional coach and facilitator.
  • Develop and coach assigned coaches from our network of Six Sigma coaches to enhance problem-solving capability across the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 7-10 years' experience in a Process Improvement position with experience of change management within a structured framework.
  • Experience of project management ideally within a PMO environment utilizing dedicated software.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, statistically literate, and well-equipped with Six Sigma quality concepts and tools.

Desirable

  • Coaching certification.
  • Black Belt certified with supporting project experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of DFT or TOC concepts.
