Creative Support is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to delivering exceptional person-centered social care.

We are in search of composed and self-assured Relief Support Workers in the Durham area to offer individualized support to clients with learning disabilities, complex needs, and challenging behaviors, enabling them to engage in a variety of personal development opportunities.

Patience and adaptability are essential, as each Service User has distinct communication styles and needs. Our services operate around the clock, so you must be prepared to cover various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

Strong skills in positive communication and engagement are required, along with the ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for those we assist. You should possess the maturity to work within a positive behavior support framework, accept responsibility, and develop confidence as a skilled practitioner. Adhering to established guidelines and fostering a consistent, supportive team environment is crucial.

Prior experience in Relief Support Worker roles is necessary. Compensation is provided on a weekly basis.

As a member of the Creative Support Relief Support Worker team, you will have access to our complimentary app, which allows you to select shifts across the country, offers service information, and provides directions.
