Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Digital Marketing Director to lead and oversee the brand's digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital marketing within the luxury beauty sector, coupled with a proven ability to craft and execute strategies that enhance brand awareness, engagement, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Digital Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with the overall brand objectives. Define goals, identify target audiences, and select appropriate channels and tactics to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Advertising Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across various platforms, including PPC, display, retargeting, and native advertising. Manage campaign budgets and monitor performance to ensure KPIs and ROI targets are met.
  • P&L Management of E-commerce Platforms: Oversee the brand's e-commerce platforms, including content, ads, and sales performance. Be responsible for meeting sales targets for the channel, managing the content calendar, scheduling live events, and driving advertising and affiliate activities.
  • Social Media Management: Lead the brand's social media presence across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and Snapchat. Create engaging content, manage content calendars, and foster community engagement while staying updated on platform trends and algorithm changes.
  • E-Retail and B2B Collaboration: Collaborate with the B2B Retail and E-Retail teams to boost brand visibility on e-shops and retail partners' social media platforms. Coordinate marketing efforts to drive both online and offline traffic and sales. Use advertising expertise to drive revenue via E-Retailers' own ad platforms such as Criteo.
  • Content Creation and Distribution: Work with internal teams, stylists, creators, and media partners to develop compelling digital content that aligns with the brand's tone and values. Ensure content is distributed effectively across relevant digital channels.
  • Influencer and Professional Beauty Experts - Relationships: Partner with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager to manage influencer strategies, including organic, paid, and affiliate channels. Cultivate relationships with key industry influencers and industry experts to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
  • Global Digital Marketing Strategy: Lead the digital marketing strategy for the global regions, ensuring content adaptation for local markets while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Amazon Advertising: Collaborate with the Brand Marketing Director and Amazon account manager to develop and execute advertising strategies on Amazon DSP and AMS. Manage the advertising budget to ensure campaigns achieve performance objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing digital marketing strategies for luxury brands, with a preference for experience in the beauty or hair care industries.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Shop, Pinterest Ads, Amazon AMS, and DSP.
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and PowerBI.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • A creative thinker with a strong eye for detail and a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and mentoring a team of digital marketing professionals.
  • Specific experience in managing the P&L for digital sales channels, particularly on platforms like TikTok Shop, is highly desirable.
