We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join our Cambridge-based Residential Property Management team at Carter Jonas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their property career.

As a Property Manager, you will play a key role in the growth and development of our Cambridge branch, working closely with the team to manage a portfolio of let properties throughout the entire rental process. Your responsibilities will include administering the management of let residential properties, handling problems arising during tenancies, managing repairs, and conducting quarterly inspections.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the administration of let residential properties, including efficient and correct handling of problems arising during tenancies.
  2. Conduct quarterly inspections of all properties, advising landlords of any changes or issues arising and notifying tenants of any areas where action is required.
  3. Liaise with all parties to negotiate a speedy and satisfactory conclusion and return of the tenants' deposit during check-outs.
  4. Manage the relationship with landlords, including reporting maintenance and accounts matters.
  5. Identify and recommend need for property upgrades and refurbishment, organising any between tenancy work to maximise landlords' income.
  6. Update records and maximise the use of our CRM system (REAPIT) to ensure all property and tenant details are up to date.
  7. Maintain a working knowledge of compliance information.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll have proven experience of managing a portfolio of properties, along with knowledge of the property industry. You will have a professional manner and excellent customer service skills at all times, be a strong administrator and have good organisational skills. The chosen Property Manager will have the ability to take the initiative in a confident and personable manner, be a strong team player with good interpersonal skills, and be numerate with excellent written and verbal communication along with fine attention to detail.
