About the Role
We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in engineering design and management to join our team. As a Design Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of our products, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of new products, ensuring they meet customer requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Develop and implement design processes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in engineering design and management, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Proficiency in design software, such as CAD and simulation tools.
What We Offer
Nicholas Clarke Associates Limited offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- A salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.

Working Hours
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday (8:00am - 4:30pm).
