Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Depot Manager to join our team at Go Traffic Management Careers. As a Depot Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day activities of our depot, ensuring that all client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met and the depot operates in a profitable and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of operatives to maintain a high standard of work and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Continuously update our operations board and Insphire system to ensure that all jobs are completed electronically and that our operations are running smoothly.
  • Conduct regular site-specific checks to ensure safety and compliance, including Mod+ Form site checks and daily vehicle checks.
  • Review and analyze Weekly Gang Check forms every Monday to ensure compliance across the fleet and liaise with our Fleet team for any maintenance and repairs.
  • Complete log books for all IPV and 7.5T vehicle activity to ensure accurate records and compliance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in logistics and operations management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team of operatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using operations management software and systems, including Insphire.
