About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Moseley Hall Hospital, part of Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a key role in providing medicines optimisation support and advice to our adult inpatient wards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specialise in one of our clinical areas, including Elderly Care, Neurology, and Stroke rehabilitation
  • Join our team of pharmacists and technicians to provide comprehensive, efficient, and safe pharmacy services
  • Work alongside clinical colleagues to support the pharmaceutical needs of patients under your care
  • Attend multidisciplinary meetings and consultant ward rounds to ensure seamless care
  • Pro-actively influence prescribing within a hospital environment
  • Contribute to quality improvements in prescribing and patient care
Requirements
  • Experience in clinical pharmacy, preferably in one of our clinical areas
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
  • Previous experience in influencing prescribing within a hospital environment
  • Attained or completed at least 1 year of a postgraduate clinical diploma
