About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Assessor to join our team in Norwich. As a Disability Assessor, you will play a critical role in evaluating the impact of health conditions on daily living and work activities, contributing to the fair and accurate distribution of disability benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments with claimants via telephone and face-to-face interviews to understand the impact of their health conditions on their daily life and ability to work.
  • Review medical evidence, including GP reports and specialist opinions, to develop a well-rounded understanding of each claimant's health.
  • Prepare objective reports that meet DWP guidelines and support the decision-making process for disability benefits.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a relevant field, such as Adult Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Physiotherapy.
  • Active registration with the NMC (for Nurses) or HCPC (for Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists).
  • Strong communication, proficient typing, and excellent IT skills.
