We are currently in search of a skilled Financial Operations Manager with a robust background in the utilities, construction, or engineering sectors to join our vibrant team.

The selected candidate will be instrumental in steering the financial health of the organization and will be tasked with the following responsibilities:



Financial Oversight:
- Supervise all financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Formulate and enforce financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
- Evaluate and interpret financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Spearhead the bi-annual budgeting process, collaborating closely with department leaders to develop comprehensive budgets.
- Generate precise financial forecasts and offer strategic insights based on thorough financial analysis.

Reporting and Analysis:
- Produce timely and accurate financial reports, encompassing monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to facilitate informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Present financial performance and insights to senior management and stakeholders.

Cost Management and Efficiency:
- Oversee project expenditures, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and financial objectives.

Compliance and Risk Management:
- Guarantee compliance with all financial regulations, standards, and reporting obligations.
- Manage financial risks, including credit, liquidity, and operational risks.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory entities as necessary.

Team Leadership:
- Work towards building and leading a finance team, mentoring and developing team members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Encourage collaboration and effective communication within the finance team and across the organization.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.

Experience:
- A minimum of 7 years in a senior financial position, with substantial experience in the utilities sector or high voltage network projects.
- Proven expertise in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, MS Excel).
- Strong comprehension of financial regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.
